Today's school day commute trip was probably the worst commute trip ever so far this school year.
I commute every single school day going home. It the same every school day, I ride a trike, then a jeepney, walk the philcoa overpass and walk a little to the sakayan where I'll find the trike destined for me . If I am lucky, there are people who drop me off at savemore (which means that I don't need to ride the trike anymore.... saves me 20 pesos). yeah. Poor binbo me. Anyway, I don't really mind being a commuter. I actually find it fun to commute. It just sucks when mother nature gets mad. WHICH REMINDS ME OF WHAT HAPPENED EARLIER.
Dismissal time.
I was a happy kid in a happy school with happy people having a happy time. Dedeng was left by her schoolbus so we've both decided to commute going home. We hitched with mara and her dada so that life could be easier. I mean, so that we could save some moolah. Poor binbo me again. Then, we went to jolibee. We ordered the food for our outreach and blah blah.We were happy kids drinking our happy frost blends in the not so happy weather. The not so happy weather was JUST not so happy until I've reached philcoa. Dedeng left in the Ever overpass so I was left alone. Anyway, I was there in philcoa. Mother Nature welcomed me with a lot of raindrops yehey -_-. THE WEATHER WAS NOT HAPPY AT ALL.
FORTUNATLEY I had my PAYONG. wrong. I lied. I didn't have my payong. I ACCIDENTALLY LEFT IT AT HOME. great. So I was there, under the philcoa overpass along with other strangers who were also not having a happy time. There was a payong-er there. I bought a new payong for 50 pesos. Binbo me. I have 4 payongs already, all from diffrerent commute trips and all results of forgetfulness.
So there. I had my payong. I opened it......climbed the oh so steep stairs of the philcoa overpass which was looked like a waterfall because of the rain and water overflow on the overpass itself. My shoes and socks got wet. My bag got wet too. My shirt was wet. great. But when I thought that things couldn't get any worse, the wind blew so hard that my payong sort of got disjointed (what a word) uhmm bumaliktad siya. Lucky me. I fixed it. So there I was, under my defective payong.....things were getting a bit okay untill the rain started falling diagonally. hahaha. Imagine it. Diagonal rainfall. It was because of the wind. Imagine prevneting the rain whith diagonal rainfall. You can't. I was wet. Really wet. and then blah blah I've reached the sakayan. It was also raining inside the sakayan. great. Poor binbo me.
The happy commuter.
